Privacy fencing is a great way to turn your yard into a little sanctuary. Whether you're trying to keep people from looking in your yard or you live somewhere with an unattractive view, you want fencing that will look nice and block vision completely. PVC vinyl fencing might be exactly what you need.
No Warping, Splitting, Or Cracking
Perhaps the number one reason why PVC vinyl fencing is a good choice for privacy fencing is that it holds up over time. A fence made of wooden boards may completely block your line of sight when it's first installed, but wood can warp over time, leading to gaps between the slats of the fence. Vinyl, on the other hand, maintains its shape, so the pieces of a vinyl fence will always be snug against each other.
In addition, the pieces of a vinyl fence are generally complete wide panels, meaning there's not even a millimeter of space between the "slats" of the fence – because the appearance of slats is created through texture, not separate pieces. So you won't end up with spaces forming between either these textured slats or the larger fencing panels.
Custom Slope Fitting
If the line that you want to install fencing on has a slope, vinyl is an excellent choice. It's possible to get vinyl fence panels that are custom-made to fit the slope of your landscaping so that the bottom of the fence will follow the curve of the ground, eliminating awkward open space at the bottom of your privacy fence. If this interests you, you'll need to talk to a fence contractor about having your fence line inspected and custom fencing ordered.
Attractive Colors And Textures
People don't generally think of privacy fencing as being the most attractive fencing, but vinyl provides plenty of options to keep a privacy fence looking nice. First of all, vinyl is available in many different colors, whether you want a classic white fence, a wood-like brown fence, or even a pale blue fence to match your shutters. Plus, since vinyl fencing is colored all the way through, it will never chip off.
If that's not enough, vinyl fencing is also available in many textures. In privacy fencing, texturing the panels to look like slats is very common. If you want to mimic wood, you can combine this with brown coloring and a wood grain surface texture. Vinyl fencing panels that mimic stone or brick are also available. All this means that a PVC vinyl fence can fit with any landscaping.Share

I have always loved dogs, so when I was presented with an option to start breeding dogs, I jumped on it. Before I could begin the breeding business, I had to have some fencing installed and some kennels built. The fencing that I needed had to be able to hold up if the dogs were to jump up against it and had to be high enough to keep them from jumping over it. If you are trying to fence in your yard to keep your dog contained, you will find some helpful tips that the fencing contractor provided to me during my installation job.
